Employment Duration: Regular, Full time (32 Hours Per Week)
Schedule: 8am to 5pm (Thursday to Sunday)

As an Apartment Concierge Security Officer, you are the first point of contact for residents and guests, ensuring a welcoming and secure environment. Your responsibilities include monitoring access to the property, responding to incidents, assisting residents with inquiries, and maintaining a visible security presence. Youll work closely with management to uphold community policies, provide exceptional customer service, and ensure the safety and comfort of all residents. Ideal candidates are professional, alert, and customer-focused with strong communication skills.

HOW YOU WILL IMPACT TI COMMUNITIES:
Property Walks (Hourly)
- Patrol the entire property every hour.
- Ensure security measures are in place (common areas locked, no unauthorized individuals, security cameras functional).
- Pick up trash inside and outside the building.
- Check fitness equipment for proper functioning.
- Monitor building conditions and report issues immediately.
Vacant Unit Inspections (Hourly)
- Check all vacant units to confirm they are clean, secure, and truly "make-ready."
- Ensure there are no maintenance issues and units meet property standards.
Resident Assistance
- Answer calls on a dedicated courtesy patrol/concierge phone.
- Respond to resident inquiries via phone, email, and walk-ins.
- Assist with security concerns and package handling.
- Provide excellent customer service and escalate issues as needed.
Light Administrative Tasks
- Complete a detailed patrol report each shift, documenting hourly activities, incidents, and resident/unit details.
Common Area Maintenance
- Ensure bathrooms, fitness centers, and common areas are stocked with necessary supplies.
- Empty all common area trash containers and replace with new bags.
- Secure all common areas as part of hourly patrols.

Experience:

Skills:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to de-escalate conflicts and handle difficult situations professionally
- Basic computer proficiency for reporting and email correspondence
- Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
- Physical ability to walk the property and vacant units hourly
- Knowledge of safety procedures and emergency response protocols
- Familiarity with security systems, surveillance cameras, and access control systems (preferred)
