What are the responsibilities and job description for the AMI Operator position at TI Fluid Systems?
Responsibilities:
- Loading and unloading of hoppers as needed
- Sort rejects and retest parts
- Weigh and seal boxes
- Material handling/pull material for changeovers
- Perform final audits, initiate work instructions & ensures changeovers are done
- Dock audit sign offs
- Enter work orders
- Verify test parts and poke-yokes
- Understand build schedule supplied by materials
- Small level of repair/machine adjustments
- Maintain process books, log sheet and one point lessons
- Enters data on computer system throughout shift
- Any and all other duties assigned

Education and Experience Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent experience
- Ability to use measuring devices
- Computer literate preferred

Physical Requirements:
- Standing, walking, repeated bending
- Lifting and carrying up to 40 lbs
- Use of hands and legs
- Speak clearly, oral communication
- Ability for rapid manual/muscular coordination simultaneously involving wrist/hands/fingers
- Vision: depth perception and distinguish basic colors
Working Conditions:
- Works inside within an automotive components manufacturing office setting and may be exposed to heat, cold and fumes/chemicals.
- Noise: constant above 85dcb with vibration
- Working with machinery with moving parts
- Occasionally work with grease and oils, hands in water, alone, and more than 40 hours
