What are the responsibilities and job description for the Crib Attendant - TOOL ROOM (2nd Shift w/ premium) position at TI Fluid Systems?
Duties and Requirements of the Job:
- Maintains organization’s tool and equipment supply.
- Prepares regular inventory, maintains perpetual inventory, and requisitions stock as specified.
- Unpacks and stores new equipment.
- Visually inspects tools, using appropriate measurement devises to check for wear and damage.
- Reports damaged and worn out equipment to supervisor.
- Stores tools in appropriate protective conditions.
- Makes minor, routine repairs and calibrations.
- Performs such individual assignments as supervisors and superiors may direct.
- Ensures adequate and continuous control procedures are exercised over all assigned activities affecting quality.
- Establishes and maintains effective work relationships with internal and external customers which broadly includes suppliers and stakeholders.
- Maintains the professional competence, knowledge and skill necessary for the satisfactory performance of all assigned responsibilities.
- Other duties as assigned.
Training, Knowledge and Experience:
- Some electromechanical skills, physical coordination and math skills of a level typically evidenced by a High School diploma.
- Good computer, language and communication skills.
Physical Requirements to Perform the Duties of the Job:
- Nothing that would prohibit overnight or extended travel.
- Ability to travel (including air travel and long automobile trips).
Working Conditions:
- Occasionally lifts and / or carries up to 70 pounds.
- Maneuvers in, around and under factory and/or laboratory equipment on a regular and continuous basis.
- Some of work time is spent standing, walking, lifting and bending.
- Works within an automotive component manufacturing office and laboratory setting. Exposure to heat, cold and fumes/chemicals.
