Job Description: Position Summary: The Field Engineer assists with estimating, project controls, schedule updates, document control, quality control project documentation, RFIs, change orders, field accounting, purchasing, and safety documentation. Primary Duties and Responsibilities: Develop and manage project schedules and scope. Interact with project participants to gather scope, logistics, and constraints. Incorporate data into the overall plan or schedule. Present and analyze schedule reports. Lead Schedule Review Meetings. Develop periodic reporting formats for field progress data. Manage Scope Change Management system. Communicate with vendors and track orders. Schedule and track sub-contractor work. Attend and organize partnering meetings. Collect and analyze data related to project infrastructure using GIS software. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Proficient in SAP, Primavera, Microsoft Projects, or similar software. Resource and cost load activities within the schedule. Optimize resource utilization. Fluent with ESRI suite of software, specifically Arc GIS Pro, Survey 123, and Workforce. Proactive attitude, willingness to learn, and initiative to improve processes. Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering is required. Minimum of one year of experience with scheduling and/or planning software. Work Conditions/Physical Demands: Work in a fast-paced environment and outdoors in all weather conditions. Frequently lift equipment weighing up to 60lbs. Enter confined spaces and perform work wearing personal protective equipment. Work long hours and all shift schedules, up to seven days a week for extended durations.
