Devops Engineer

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to join our client's team in Plano, TX. The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of IT experience, with strong hands-on skills in container orchestration, CI/CD pipeline integrations, and cloud platforms. A background in software development using .NET, Angular, and web services are essential for success in this role.

Top 3 Must-Have Skills:

1. 10 years of overall experience in DevOps/Software Engineering.

2. Hands-on expertise with container orchestration tools such as Docker, OpenShift, and relevant tools/appliances.

3. Strong experience in CI/CD pipeline integration with in-depth knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform).

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and manage scalable CI/CD pipelines.

• Implement and maintain containerized solutions using Docker and OpenShift.

• Work closely with development and QA teams to ensure smooth code releases.

• Manage cloud-based infrastructure with a focus on automation, monitoring, and performance optimization.

• Collaborate on infrastructure-as-code (IaC) implementations and other DevOps best practices.

• Support .NET and Angular-based application deployments and integrations.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Proficiency with Docker, OpenShift, and other container orchestration technologies.

• Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps).

• Strong understanding of cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform).

• Software development background using .NET, Angular, web services.

• Solid knowledge of version control systems (Git) and Agile methodologies.
