Job Title: Logistics Engineer

Location: Bellevue, WA (100% Onsite)

Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Logistics Engineer to support onsite hardware logistics and inventory management for a leading technology client in Bellevue, WA. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in logistics operations, shipping & receiving, and working in a lab or data center environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage end-to-end logistics operations for incoming and outgoing hardware.

• Maintain and organize hardware in storage and lab areas.

• Track incoming hardware, verify items against shipping manifests, and update inventory.

• Communicate received hardware details with customers within defined SLAs.

• Proactively communicate with customers in case of hardware discrepancies or delays.

• Move hardware from loading docks to labs; unpack, log, and shelve items as required.

• Pack and prepare hardware for outbound shipments (domestic & international).

• Generate shipping labels and necessary documentation for outbound deliveries.

• Transport packages to the docking area or carrier facility as per instructions.

• Maintain records of received/shipped hardware and manage related communication.

• Ensure compliance with Microsoft s inbound/outbound shipping protocols.

• Conduct frequent inventory audits and track quarantined/distressed hardware.

• Improve and document logistics and inventory control procedures.

• Evaluate and report on logistics process effectiveness and propose improvements.

• Operate server lifts and pallet jacks; lift hardware up to 25 30 lbs as needed.

Mandatory Skills & Technical Requirements:

• Inventory Management experience must have

• Strong understanding of equipment Check-in/Check-out processes

• Familiar with handling servers and hardware in a data center/lab environment

• Experience with logistics software/tools and shipping documentation

• Ability to perform frequent physical tasks (lifting, moving equipment)

• Excellent communication skills for interaction with customers and internal teams

• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
