Job Description:
Highly skilled SAP Project Systems (PS) Strategist to play a crucial role in optimizing project management processes.
This position focuses on leveraging SAP PS to enable detailed planning and monitoring of project costs, budgets, schedules, and resources, ensuring efficient execution and progress tracking.
The role also involves integrating SAP PS with other critical modules, such as Materials Management (MM) for procurement, Sales and Distribution (SD) for billing and revenue tracking, Controlling (CO) for cost and budget management, and Human Resources (HR) for resource allocation.
Experience with SAP WBS (Work Breakdown Structure) is required. This position is ideal for professionals with expertise in enhancing project efficiency and driving seamless cross-functional integration.
Qualifications:
7 years of SAP Project Systems experience (S/4HANA or ECC).
Strong knowledge of SAP PS structures, Work Breakdown Structure (WBS), Networks, Milestones, Cost Planning, and Budgeting.
Experience integrating SAP PS with FI/CO, MM, SD, and HR.
Experience with SAP Fiori Gantt Chart.
Ability to analyze business requirements and translate them into SAP solutions.
Experience in financial reporting, variance analysis, and project cost reconciliation.
Proven experience in SAP testing methodologies (unit, integration, regression, and acceptance testing).
Experience in system upgrades, performance tuning, and risk management.
Essential Duties:
SAP Project Systems Implementation & Configuration:
Configure and optimize WBS structures, Networks, Milestones, Cost Planning, Budgeting, Project Quotation, Material Requirement Planning (MRP), and Time Sheets.
Develop and integrate project cost forecasting, revenue tracking, and budget reporting within SAP PS.
Schedule projects using SAP Fiori Gantt Chart and ensure smooth execution.
Financial & Accounting Integration:
Integrate SAP PS with FI/CO to manage project settlements, invoicing, and financial performance.
Collaborate with Finance teams to analyze and reconcile project budgets, actual costs, and forecasted expenses.
System Administration & Business Process Optimization:
Work with cross-functional teams to identify business requirements and translate them into SAP PS functional designs.
Configure security roles, authorizations, and user access controls within SAP PS.
Testing, Deployment & System Performance:
Develop and execute test plans (unit, integration, regression testing) to validate SAP PS configurations.
Monitor system risks, performance, and optimizations, providing mitigation strategies.
Data Analysis & Reporting:
Design SAP BW/BI reports, dashboards, and financial statements for project tracking.
Provide insights on project performance, cost variances, and forecasting trends.
Support & Best Practices:
Provide ongoing SAP PS system support, training, and process documentation.
Implement best practices for SAP PS, ensuring business alignment and efficiency.
Lead stakeholder meetings, business alignment workshops, and process improvement initiatives.
Education & Certifications:
Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or IT.
SAP PS Certification is a plus.
Certifications in Project Management (PMP), Six Sigma, or Agile methodologies are a plus
