Job Title: Sr. Tableau/BI Developer
Location: Jersey City, NJ (5 days onsite)
Job Description:
We are seeking a Sr. Tableau/BI Developer with 10-15 years of experience in Business Intelligence (BI) reporting and analytics. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in Tableau, along with experience in at least one of the following BI tools: Qlik, ThoughtSpot, Power BI, Cognos, Business Objects, or MicroStrategy.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and develop BI reports and dashboards using Tableau and other BI tools.
Work with large-scale data warehouses, leveraging strong SQL skills to support reporting needs.
Manage the extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) process for reporting.
Collaborate with data modelers to design efficient data models and optimize reporting structures, focusing on concepts such as star schema, fact and dimension tables, and Slowly Changing Dimensions (SCDs).
Engage with nearshore and offshore teams to deliver BI solutions.
Work collaboratively across business and technology teams to create data-driven solutions.
Must-Have Skills:
Strong hands-on experience with Tableau and other BI tools (Qlik, ThoughtSpot, Power BI, Cognos, Business Objects, MicroStrategy).
Extensive experience working with large-scale data warehouses and solid SQL skills.
Expertise in data modeling, including star schema, fact and dimension tables, and SCDs.
Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams, including offshore and nearshore resources.
Ability to deliver high-quality BI solutions in a team-oriented environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in data-driven business solutions and analytics.
Strong communication skills and ability to work across multiple teams and departments.
