What are the responsibilities and job description for the Full Stack Software Developer position at Tiag?
TIAG is hiring a Full Stack Software Developer to join our team in Arlington, VA supporting the Office of Naval Research (ONR). This is a hybrid position, reporting onsite 3x a week.
The Software Developer will work with our team to develop an enterprise Portfolio Data System (PDS) to full operating capability (FOC) for the ONR. PDS will provide enterprise financial visibility of the Science and Technology (S&T) portfolios at both the ONR Leadership and Project Officer levels.
Key Responsibilities :
- Design, develop, test, and deploy applications using a variety of programming languages and frameworks.
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code.
- Analyze user requirements and system specifications to create detailed design documents and technical solutions. Ensure the application is scalable, reliable, and secure.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve software defects and performance issues. Optimize application performance and ensure efficient use of resources.
- Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback and adhering to coding standards and best practices. Collaborate with peers to improve code quality and software design.
- Work closely with the project manager, PDS software lead and other developers to deliver the PDS software that meets user needs and aligns with business goals.
- Engage in agile development practices, including sprint planning and daily stand-ups.
- Create and maintain technical documentation for software applications, including design specifications, user guides, and operational procedures.
- Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices. Actively seek opportunities for skill development and knowledge enhancement.
Required Qualifications :
Progressively more complex experience developing software applications using C#, Java, SQL, and Javascript.
CompTIA Security (or equivalent)

Pay Range : $115,000 - $125,000 per year
