We are looking for an experienced Regional Sales Director for the Pacific Northwest region capable of strong leadership, strategic thinking, and the ability to inspire and manage a sales team to deliver exceptional results
As the Regional Sales Director for the Pacific Northwest, you will be responsible for executing to the company strategy, driving our regional sales performance, achieving sales budgets, and securing design wins. You will lead your support team, develop strategic plans for business growth, and assess team performance.
This position is based in San Jose, CA — or remotely within the Pacific Northwest — and reports directly to the Sr. Sales Director of Tianma America.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
· Regional Sales Performance: Achieve the Industrial Sales and Design Win budgets.
· Regional Sales Representatives: Manage, coach, and closely co-work with TMA’s sales representatives in the region. Conduct regular account reviews, annual representative evaluations, monthly commission reviews, and provide on-going training and support.
· Performance Monitoring: Monitor regional sales performance on an ongoing basis, assess the effectiveness of strategies, and initiate corrective action as required.
· Forecasting: Prepare monthly regional sales forecasts and lead the determination of market potential and sales estimates.
· Customer Relationship Building: Develop and maintain relationships with key OEM accounts and regional distribution channel partners and customers, addressing their needs and concerns.
· Internal Relationship Building: Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders at our headquarters and our factories in China and Japan. Learn, understand and utilize the business processes in place for custom product development and standard product support.
· Industry Knowledge: Maintain knowledge of the industry and the competition within the regional market, seek information from customers, strategic industry partners, suppliers, and others to challenge, modify and prioritize regional strategies and prepare the team to counter the competition.
· Product Knowledge: Maintain skills and knowledge to sell the entire product line to all applicable buying influencers and differentiate each product line against the competitors’ products.
Qualifications
· Proven track record of success in a sales management role, with at least 5 years of experience in a regional sales or territory management position.
· Experience in display or related industry preferred.
· Bachelor’s (or advanced) degree in engineering, business, marketing, or a related field.
· Ready to travel within the region (Northern CA, Northern NV, OR, WA, ID, UT, CO, MT, WY) as required.
· Willing to attend and participate in evening calls with China or Japan, at a minimum of weekly.
· Able to attend and participate in industry events such as CES, SID Display Week, distributor and other trade shows as needed.

· Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
· Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
