Composite's Material Handler

Position Summary:
 

The Composite's Material Handler is responsible for the movement of molds. They will work closely with the Mold Prep team in locating and retrieving the molds needed. They will be responsible to store the molds in the appropriate manner and in the appropriate locations.

Qualifications

Job Responsibilities:

• Adhere to all health and safety requirements and follow proper methods and use of equipment in the handling and storage of molds.
• Support efficient picking, turnover and timely movement of materials to designated areas using appropriate materials handling equipment
• Help maintain storage areas and perform housekeeping duties as assigned
• Actively looks for ways to develop cooperative relationships between the mold storage areas and other key functional areas.
• Promotes cohesive culture in support of company direction, annual plans, policy changes, expectations, and customer requirements
• Performs other related duties as assigned by management
• Must be able to obtain a Hi-Lo license
• Must be able to read and write in English for proper documentation
• Must be physically able to push/pull heavy parts exceeding 100lbs.

Education and Experience:

Material Handler:

• High school graduate, or GED
• OHSA Forklift certification or ability to obtain a license.

• Able to follow manufacturing instruction and understand processes
• Must practice PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) policies as mandated per area. (Use safety glasses/goggles, hearing protection, etc.)
• Must follow company safety guidelines
• Must be fluent in the English language
• Must have a valid drivers license
