What are the responsibilities and job description for the Yard Associate position at Tibbetts Lumber?
Tibbetts Lumber Co. LLC, a growing Lumber and Building Materials company, is seeking an experienced Yard Associate. Under direct supervision, the qualified candidate will perform a variety of yard activities including, operating a forklift to move product and material throughout the yard and providing customer service to Tibbetts Lumber customers.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
- Assist customers in the location and loading of product
- Review materials loaded against invoice or requisition; complete and route paperwork appropriately
- Move product / material throughout the yard ensuring placement in correct areas
- Ensure product / material is well stocked of inventory at all times
- Perform routine clean-up of yard
- Understand and observe all safety procedures and practices
- Provide superior customer service to internal and external customers at all times
- All other duties as assigned
