Lead Product Designer , you are creating experiences and crafting the details in our products that help transform the way people work. You lead by example, you are curious, doing the work and challenging assumptions at every turn. Our ideal candidate advocates for users and leverages data to design product experiences. Role Overview :
Demonstrate subject matter expertise in user-centered design
Contribute to team processes, lead large projectsOffer design guidance to and mentor junior designersAdvocate for users and the role of design in the product development process Incorporate and share new techniques based on industry trendsEmbody and advocate for the mission and goals of User Experience within ShareFileProactively collaborate within the design team and with cross-functional teams.
Review and delegate work to design teammatesWork closely with user researchers and contribute to research strategiesActively communicate and share information with design teammates to ensure UI / UX pattern alignment across platforms and productsCollaboratively problem solve with Product Management and EngineeringReceive, weigh, and integrate feedback from cross-functional teamsPlay an active role throughout the product lifecycle, including : defining requirements, designing flows, and reviewing buildsProactively provide solutions with strategic intention

8 years of user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) design for multiple products, including experience in : User-centered design methods and techniques (e.g., user research and testing, data analysis, customer journey maps, etc.)Designing for software applications for multiple platforms (e.g., web, mobile, desktop)Working and collaborating in Agile development environments using management and issue tracking software (e.g., Jira)
Demonstrates a passion for design, our users, and collaboration with designers and cross-functional team members.Has a solid portfolio showcasing work that exhibits attention to detail and articulates design decisionsBachelor's degree in visual design, interaction design, human factors, human-computer interaction, or equivalent professional experienceYour Superhero Strengths include :
Possesses working knowledge of web technologies and frameworks (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React); experience with front-end coding a plusDemonstrates high proficiency in creating low- to high-fidelity : wireframes, designs concepts, prototypes, and technical documentation using industry tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe CreativeCloud, InVision, Axure).
Compensation may vary depending on your location, qualifications including job-related education, training, experience, licensure, and certification, that could result at a level outside of these ranges. Certain roles are eligible for additional rewards, including annual bonus, and sales incentives depending on the terms of the applicable plan and role as well as individual performance.
