Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain production efficiency by troubleshooting and diagnosing problems with production machinery in collaboration with industry specialists.
- Set up, run, troubleshoot, and dismantle production machinery while adhering to safety protocols.
- Perform regular maintenance tasks to keep designated machinery in optimal condition.
- Minimize downtime through effective preventive maintenance procedures and management.
- Troubleshoot machinery errors during production hours and communicate issues with production management when necessary.
- Collaborate with machine operators to ensure safe and proper operation of machines.
- Evaluate and estimate sizes, distances, and quantities required for work activities.
- Inspect subordinate's work for compliance with contract plans and specifications, identify deficiencies, and take corrective action as needed.
Requirements:
- A high school diploma or equivalent, along with relevant experience in the field or related area.
- Strong working knowledge skills and abilities specific to the position.
- Ability to comprehend, follow, and transmit written and oral instructions, as well as communicate effectively with management and supervision.
- Proficiency in using electrical, hand tools, power tools, layout tools, and measurement tools safely and efficiently.
- Meet all physical requirements of the job.
- Be equipped with all necessary tools.
- Ability to work at heights, in confined spaces (potentially exceeding 200 ft), and outdoors in varied weather conditions.
- Willingness to work overtime, nights, and weekends based on workload demands.
