Primary Responsibilities And Duties
- Obtain necessary tools and components and the lay out of work
- Interpret hand signals in order to direct cranes for pile driving activities
- Learn and understand pile driving techniques for timber, steel, concrete, and sheet piles on land and barge.
- Assist with the assembly of pile driving leads, connecting hoses, rigging material and equipment.
- Shakeout of items to be installed into erectable sequence and rigging of same for crane hoisting with a thorough knowledge and use of crane signals.
- Loads, transports and unloads material, tools, equipment and supplies.
- Assist other craft workers as needed
