Position Summary
We are hiring for a NCCO - Hydraulic Tadano Rough Terrain 75-100 Ton Operator position with a structured work schedule transitioning from 5/10s (five 10-hour shifts per week) until the outage begins around March 31st, at which point the schedule will shift to 7/12s (seven 12-hour shifts per week).
Compensation & Incentives:
- Night shift (NS) employees will receive an additional $1 per hour on top of the base rate listed in the requisition.
- Employees who work all assigned hours without absences will be eligible for a $1,000 completion incentive.
- A $500 incoming incentive is available for those who qualify for per diem.
- A $5 per hour pay increase will take effect when the outage begins on March 31st.

Primary Responsibilities and Duties
- Operate crane to lift and move materials and other objects.
- Plan all lifts and take complete charge of all safety pertaining to set up and knockdown, operation of crane and proper use of capacity charts.
- Perform rigging inspection and daily equipment inspection.
- Respond accordingly to both hand and verbal commands from rigger or helpers.
- Observe the travel of all loads and take appropriate action to avoid injury to personnel or damage to property.
- Read boom angle and drum rotation indicators.
- Estimating sizes, distances, and quantities; or determining time, costs, resources, or materials needed to perform a work activity.
- Inspect subordinate's work for compliance with the contract plans and specifications, point out deficiencies and explain and take any corrective action needed.
Qualifications
- Must possess strong working knowledge skills and abilities for position.
- Ability to understand, follow and transmit written and oral instructions and communicate effectively with management/supervision.
- Proficient in the safe and efficient use of electrical, hand tools, power tools and layout tools as well as measurement tools
Requirements
- The person in this position needs to constantly move about a construction/industrial site,
- Constantly works in a construction environment and will be exposed to changing outdoor
- Work irregular hours, weekends, overtime and holidays as required
- May be required to use ladders/mechanical platforms/manlifts/scaffold to access
maintain balance on formwork, steel formwork, stairs, ladders and scaffolds
- Move and work in and around confined and cluttered places, and uneven surfaces
- Must be able to complete tasks in a noisy and dusty environment
- May be required/able to move items weighing up to 50 pounds across
- Must have required tools
- Observe and comply with all safety and project rules, perform other duties as required
- Ability to pass pre-access drug and alcohol testing, fit for duty medical and background
