Position Summary : Acts as a strategic advisor to business leaders, aligning human resource practices with company goals by providing guidance on employee relations, performance management, organizational development, talent acquisition, and compensation. Responsible for aligning business objectives with employees and management in designated business units. This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities but does serve as a coach and mentor for individuals at all levels throughout the company
Job Duties and Responsibilities include :
- Prepares offer letters and works closely with Talent Acquisition Team to facilitate recruiting process and onboarding of new employees
- Conducts weekly meetings with respective business units to ensure we are staying on pace with hiring needs, hiring projections, etc.
- Consults with management, providing HR guidance when appropriate.
- Analyzes trends and metrics in partnership with the HR group to develop solutions, programs and policies.
- Manages and resolves complex employee relations issues. Conducts effective, thorough and objective investigations.
- Maintains in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance. Partners with the legal department as needed / required.
- Provides day-to-day performance management guidance to line management (e.g., coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions).
- Works closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, increase productivity and retention; promotes positive working relationships within teams
- Provides HR policy guidance and interpretation.
- Develops contract terms for new hires, promotions and transfers.
- Provides guidance and input on team building, growth, employee relations matters, succession planning, etc.
- Identifies training needs for business units and individual coaching needs.
Responsible for ensuring all employees within the Business Unit are compliant with required compliance training upon hire and annually thereafter
