STATUS: non-exempt/hourly
SALARY RANGE:$34.00- $38.00/hr. based on experience & qualifications

Job Summary:
The 3D Drafter is responsible for the creation of process, P&IDs, as-built, mechanical, construction, and isometric 3D design drawing packages. They will work as part of the capex team to drive the design-build process of industrial production facilities. They will be involved in both the interpretation and creation of specification documents to support the design packages. Tidal Vision is looking for an individual who is looking to build upon their past experiences, but more importantly grow with us. The ideal candidate will be well versed in safety procedures, mechanical systems including pumps, motors, valves, etc. and be extremely organized and able to communicate effectively.
Essential Job Functions:
- Proficiency using 3D drafting programs (auto-cad, solid works, or equivalent), including interpretation of drafts.
- Experience in mechanical processes, piping, heavy industry, building drafting, or related.
- Support system footprint layout design to include proposed water & air piping, electrical and routing of other utilities.
- Must be a strong communicator and be motivated to learn new skills.
- Must be proactive in continuous improvement of processes, product quality, etc.
- Demonstrate a high level of attention to detail and quality work.
- Must be able to operate autonomously.
Basic Qualifications:
- 2 years of 3D drafting experience.
- Highly organized with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and accurately.
- Computer competency. Must be able to navigate the Microsoft Suite, Google Suite, and any other related software.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Degree or professional Certificate in 3D drafting.
- Experience in designing mechanical, plumbing, refining, or building systems.
- Technical education.
Working Conditions and Physical Requirements:
Work is performed within Tidal Vision’s warehouse. This position will be expected and required to follow safety standards and wear all personal protective equipment in designated areas and while on-site. Hiring is conditional upon background check.
