Job Title : CT Technologist

Job Specialty : CT

Job Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : 12-hour days, either Fri / Sat / Sun or Sat / Sun / Mon, with occasional night shifts as needed

Guaranteed Hours : 36 hours per week

Experience : Not specified

License : Must maintain state certification to practice Radiologic Technology

Certifications :

Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)(R)
Basic Life Support (BLS) required, must be by the American Heart Association

Must-Have :

Experience with MRM Radiology Computer Terminals, Hewlett Packard Laser Printers, GE PRO 16 slice CT Scanner, GE VCT 64 slice CT Scanner, GE CTI CT Scanner, McKesson PACS Hardware, and GE Independent Workstation.

Job Description :

Provides quality diagnostic imaging services with a patient-focused approach under the guidance of radiologists and the Radiology Director.

Demonstrates knowledge in current concepts and performs at a level that allows for independent thought and action.

Applies critical thinking to manage patients, ensuring appropriate care based on patient needs using age-specific assessments, communication, and knowledge of physical and mental capabilities.

Works collaboratively with another technologist during scheduled shifts.

Requires wearing gray scrubs.

Guaranteed hours do not apply during the orientation period.
