Job Description:
Tide Rock is a fast-growing, dynamic company seeking a highly motivated and strategic Sales Development Representative to join our team. As a key player in our corporate development efforts, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing high-volume acquisition opportunities within manufacturing, value-added distribution, and business services.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Execute daily outreach to potential acquisition targets via cold-calling, cold-email marketing, LinkedIn, networking events, etc.
- Develop strategies to achieve acquisition targets and maximize deal volume
- Build and manage a robust pipeline through prospecting, lead generation, networking, and more
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with current and potential future acquisitions
- Conduct market research to identify and qualify inbound and self-generated leads
- Prepare and deliver compelling proposals to business owners within the manufacturing sector
- Accurately track and maintain sales activities, pipeline reports, forecasts, and trends through CRM
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- 1-5 years' experience in sales/business development
- Proven track record of managing/maintaining high-volume sales cycles and achieving sales targets
- Proficiency in CRM software such as Salesforce
- Proficiency in advanced Sales technologies such as "SalesLoft" and other structured outreach tools
- Strong interpersonal skills with ability to build trusted relationships across a variety of age and demographic groups
- Excellent attention to detail and fact-finding ability
