Tide Services exists to take care of people and their clothes. We are a Franchisor with two concepts: Tide Cleaners and Tide Laundromats. As a wholly owned subsidiary of Procter & Gamble, we deliver value to our Guests, our Franchisees and P&G. We are transforming out-of-home laundry by bringing convenience, innovation and sustainability to communities through our locally owned and operated franchised locations.
The Opportunity
The Franchise Business Partner (FBP) is responsible for driving end-to-end franchisee business results within their assigned portfolio. As a coach, consultant, and partner, the Franchise Business Partner is accountable for energizing, maintaining and building the Franchisee relationship to deliver Franchisee & Franchisor business results. The sign of success is a portfolio of Franchisees that are growing, highly profitable and as a result are hungry to expand.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
- Delivery of SSS (same store sales) growth, EBITDA, and overall franchisee scorecard results
- Drive and support NEW store openings (conversions or white space) linked to their DRA (Dev. Rights Agreement)
- Ensure compliance to Tide Brand standards and franchisee agreement
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the Franchisee relationship, driving results, and leading change (as needed) for success.
- Develop working relationships with all key stakeholders in the franchisee leadership group (i.e. GM, Marketing)
- Accountable for delivering Franchisor scorecard results for their portfolio for franchisees
- Sets and monitors same-store net sales (SSS) targets based on franchisee target growth metrics
- Support the development of local store marketing (LSM) plans & growth strategies, leveraging data insights
- Establish clear competitive (SWOT) analysis in collaboration with every franchisee for their market(s)
- Guides franchisees in reaching a path to 20% EBITDA for their respective markets.
- Owns intervention plans for underperforming markets [e.g. data analysis, playbook analysis, LSM plus ups]
- Closely partner with Marketing to drive the best allocation of BDF (1.5% Brand Development Fund)
- Partner with Franchisees to develop their local store marketing plans (LSM) to compliment the national BDF
- Partner with cross-functional teams (Marketing, Development, Training, Finance, Technology)
- Continually sharpen operational skills & category understanding by visiting Tide Cleaners stores and competitive dry cleaners (as customer & employee) and through collaboration with Ops Training Teams.
- Grow market understanding through a combination of in-market visits, competitor store visits and leveraging Tide Services technology tools (i.e. sign up for Delivery service through App)
- Develop business use cases and best practices that can be shared and reapplied across the franchise network.
- Stays informed about dry cleaning & franchising industry and economic factors affecting profitability, growth, while providing strategic recommendations to leadership to combat challenges and stay ahead of trends.
- Ensures holistic compliance of Operations, Development, Marketing Playbooks, and Brand standards.
Franchisee Development Responsibilities:
- Actively partner with Tide Services Real Estate team to share development maps for franchisee expansion and review/support/encourage new store growth & potential competitor acquisition.
- Co-own new store openings with franchisees to ensure successful execution of new store launches
- Serve as Tide corporate liaison as required for openings (i.e. Ribbon Cuttings, Grand Openings, etc.)
- Understand franchisees long term business plan, including growth plans, franchise vision, succession plan.

- Strong data & analytical skills (ability to read, interpret and draw insights from sales & performance data)
- Intermediate level of understanding of new Marketing & Advertising technologies (Paid Search, CRM, Meta)
- Ability to understand customer segmentation models, identify sales trends, & measure campaign performance.
Travel Expectations: Up to 25%.
