Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Licensed Clinical Therapist (LCSW, LCPC, or LMFT) with a specialization in child and adolescent therapy to lead and develop this new division. As the Head of Child and Adolescent Therapy, you will provide direct therapeutic services to young clients while also overseeing program development, ensuring a high standard of care, and mentoring fellow clinicians.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development and execution of child and adolescent therapy services, creating a safe, nurturing, and effective therapeutic environment for young clients
- Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions to children, adolescents, and their families, tailoring treatment to the unique developmental needs of this population
- Collaborate with families, schools, and other healthcare providers to coordinate and optimize care
- Mentor and supervise therapists providing child and adolescent services, ensuring clinical excellence and adherence to best practices
- Work closely with the Chief Clinical Officer to guide the strategic growth and vision of Tides' child and adolescent therapy division
- Help design and implement innovative, personalized treatment approaches, leveraging cutting-edge technology and novel therapies
- Contribute to a positive and collaborative workplace culture, promoting a compassionate, inclusive environment
- Assist with ad-hoc marketing and outreach efforts to grow the child and adolescent client base
- Licensed to practice in the state of Illinois (LCPC, LCSW, LMFT)
- 5 years of experience in child and adolescent therapy, including clinical leadership or supervisory experience.
- Expertise in a range of therapeutic modalities for children and adolescents (e.g., play therapy, cognitive-behavioral therapy, family systems therapy).
- Strong ability to work with families and multidisciplinary teams.
- Leadership, mentorship, and program development experience.
- Passionate about child and adolescent mental health and committed to Tides' mission and core values.
