What are the responsibilities and job description for the Appliance Consultant position at Tidewater Appliance?
Appliance Consultants are crucial to our business because they are the first face or first voice our customers encounter. We have two stores, one in New Bern and one in Morehead City selling major home appliances and we need excited consultants with great attitudes.
Duties include but are not limited to:
*Greeting customers by phone or in person.
*Discover customer's needs and offer solutions through our company's services and products.
*Use phone, social media, email and business website to communicate with potential and existing customers.
*Become an expert in our product offerings and serve as a go-to source.
*Establish and maintain healthy, long-term relationships to generate repeat business and referrals.
*Maintain personal and store quotas while utilizing the tools and opportunities provided.
*Keep a neat and tidy showroom and work area.
Requirements:
*Above average communication and interpersonal skills.
*Excellent follow-up skills.
*Good networking skills and the ability to handle numerous client companies and customers.
* Passionate about selling and finding ways to satisfy customers' needs.
*Excellent organization and time management capabilities, including being a team player.
*Proficiency with computers, the internet, email and texting.
* Ability to stand for long periods of time with customers on the showroom floor.
This is a full time position, 5 day work week including Saturdays, salary plus commission. Position will be in the New Bern store.
