Description
Position Summary
The Certified Personal Trainer is responsible for promoting a healthy lifestyle through exercise, working with patients in various settings.
Major Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide patients with a fitness training program under supervision of a Physical Therapist and/or Lead Personal Trainer.
- Demonstrate exercise routines to patients so they know proper techniques to use to avoid injuries.
- Demonstrate various exercises in a group or personal training session.
- Must maintain and inspect fitness equipment for safety and usage as well as cleaning and disinfecting tables, work areas and equipment.
- Other duties as assigned.

Education / Training / Requirements
- High School degree or equivalent.
- Current certification as a Personal Trainer or equivalent.
- One to three months related experience.
- Current CPR certification.

- Ability to sit for extended periods of time.
- Ability to climb or balance for limited periods of time.
- Ability to occasionally reach, bend, stoop and lift up to 30 lbs. *
- Ability to grasp and hold up to 25 lbs.*
- Ability to hear normal voice level communications in person or through the telephone.
- Ability to speak clearly and understandably.
