Position Purpose
This Campus Librarian position is responsible for updating and maintaining media, including books, magazines, newspapers, and websites (including LIRN), equipment, and assisting students with locating and using the media resources.
Job Responsibilities
- Maintain the Media Resource Center in an organized, quiet, professional, and clean manner with sufficient supplies.
- Oversee the check-out / check-in system of resources for students and instructors.
- Maintain and record inventory of all resources and equipment.
- Oversee the Media Resource Center rules including but not limited to proper usage of computers, no cellular phone use, and no food or drink.
- Assist students with locating and using the proper resources.
- Work with program coordinators to gather resources.
- Report on any issues, problems, or areas of concern to the Director of Education.
- Perform and complete other tasks that may be assigned by the Supervisor.
