What are the responsibilities and job description for the CDL A Hazmat Tanker Driver position at Tidewater Transit?

Join our team as a CDL A Hazmat Tanker Driver! We are seeking skilled individuals who are ready to take their driving career to the next level.

Key Requirements :

Minimum 1 year of OTR truck driving experience.
No more than 4 jobs in the last 3 years.
Must have Hazmat and Tanker endorsements.
Clean motor vehicle record (MVR).
Clean criminal background check.
No substance abuse program (SAP) in the last 7 years.

Essential Job Requirements :

CDL A driver must be within driving distance of our terminal.

A minimum age of 23 years is required.

Only one CDL A issued in the state of residence.

Must pass a DOT physical and drug screening.

Eligible for a Transportation Worker’s Identification Card (TWIC) or passport.

No waivers on DOT medical certification.

Must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently.

Ability to pass a respirator or pulmonary function test if necessary.
