What are the responsibilities and job description for the Product Manager position at Tideworks Technology, Inc?
As a Product Manager at Tideworks, you will be part of a team dedicated to developing and delivering reliable terminal operating systems and making even the most radical ideas a value-driven reality. You will work to lead and support activities across product teams to develop and convey product vision, delivering end-to-end customer and client experience. Working collaboratively with leadership, product team members and stakeholders, you will serve as an expert on the rail product and guide and champion the development of the product to maximize results. You'll lead teams by promoting a self-organizing culture, with the goal of achieving OKRs driving continued product success.
- Define the product vision, strategy and roadmap.
- Create and maintain the product strategy and production schedules, communicate the product vision to the Client Services team and champion the product to current and new customers / clients.
- Serve as the customer / client advocate by articulating the user needs and working with Associate Product Managers to translate the needs into requirements for development.
- Gather, manage and prioritize customer / client requirements to be leveraged in the development of the product and to meet needs.
- Act as the product leaders and subject matter expert for the product throughout the company and communicate all product updates / status components to applicable teams, leadership and clients / customers.
- Develop the business case and gathering data critical for new products and product improvements.
- Analyze market and competition data to create / update product features that meet customer needs and align with market / industry standards. Continuously search for opportunities to improve efficiencies and optimize product value.
- Ensure that the product features are compliant with requirements and / or restrictions.
- Oversee the product through its lifecycle and tracks product performance.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
- 4 or more years of relevant experience in technology and/or in the management of products. This usually includes at least 1 year experience leading teams.
- Experience with the principles of design thinking, and lean and agile software delivery.
- Experience in rail operations strongly preferred
- Experience managing projects preferred.

- Ability to think creatively and develop a story to bring the problem and solution together.
Supervisory Responsibilities: No
Work Environment:
- Exposure to computer screens.
- The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
- Required hybrid work schedule, at least 3 days/week in office.
- Required job duties are normally performed in a climate-controlled office environment, or remotely from home.

Compensation: $100,000 -120,000 per year
