Job description
Tiello has partnered with a highly successful Security Integrator on their search for a Commercial Security Technician focused on access control, CCTV, IP Video, burglar alarm, and visitor management solutions.
The Commercial Security Technician will be a company representative and serve as a point of contact with the client and subcontractors when required.
Project Types: Commercial and Industrial New Construction, build outs, and retrofits
Job Title: Commercial Security Technician
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Work with a team of technicians in the installation and maintenance of security systems
- Coordinate with clients to determine scope of work and institute an installation plan
- Install commercial security systems including access control, video, alarm, and AV systems
- Provide top notch client support
- End user training
- System testing and signal verification
- Maintain vehicle stock and inventory
- Install new systems, upgrades, and add ons
- Ensure projects are on plan
- Complete and submit all required project documentation
- Detail oriented with strong work ethic
Skills & Qualifications:
- High School Diploma/Vocational Training
- 3-5 years of experience in security systems installation
- In depth knowledge of commercial intrusion systems, networking, CCTV, intercom, and access control systems
- Understanding of local/national codes
- Adept at reading schematics, drawings,
- Valid driver’s license and ability to clear a drug screening
