Tiello has partnered with a Primary Ship Repair Contractor in Norfolk, VA on their search for an experienced Ship Repair Superintendent who has experience working on Naval and Commercial vessels.
Project Types : Ship Repair of Naval and Commercial Vessels (NAVSEA, USCG, MSC, NOAA, ACOE, ARMY)
Responsibilities :
- Lead and manage ship repair projects for both commercial and government clients, from planning through execution to completion.
- Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and resource allocation strategies to ensure the efficient and effective delivery of project objectives.
- Manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.
- Manage shipboard repair projects, including planning and coordination of repairs, logistics, and safety protocols.
- Coordinate with vessel owners, operators, and onboard personnel to schedule repairs, minimize downtime, and ensure minimal disruption to vessel operations.
- Oversee the deployment of repair teams, equipment, and materials to the vessel site, ensuring timely and efficient completion of repairs.
