Engineering Manager, Architecture & Platform Leadership (Remote)

Location: Remote (Preference for candidates based in the Southeastern U.S.)
Compensation: $160,000 – $170,000 base (Depending on Experience)

They are seeking an Engineering Manager with architectural depth and people-first leadership instincts. What You’ll Do

• Architect scalable systems and services that support high-velocity product growth

• Lead and coach a distributed engineering team (~7 engineers), with a focus on mentorship and delivery

• Split your time across technical leadership (65%) and team development (35%)

• Collaborate cross-functionally with Product and Design to align engineering with business strategy

• Drive platform simplification, modernization, and performance

• Help scale the engineering org as the company expands headcount and capabilities

What We’re Looking For

• 7 years of experience in software engineering, ideally in high-scale, product-focused environments

• Proven architectural design and systems ownership

• Demonstrated leadership experience (formal or informal) with a clear mentorship track record

• Excellent communicator and cross-functional collaborator

• Confident, relational, and inspiring — someone engineers trust and execs rely on

• Background in Agile/Scrum environments and modern cloud-native development
