About the Role
An innovative and mission-driven technology company is seeking a Manager of Software Engineering to lead a remote-first team of engineers while working hybrid (2 days / week in-office) near Tucker, GA . This role offers the opportunity to shape the technical direction of a rapidly growing platform, mentor engineers, and collaborate cross-functionally to deliver impactful software solutions.
We are looking for a strong technical leader who thrives in a collaborative Agile environment and is comfortable balancing people management with hands-on technical contributions . The ideal candidate is a rising leader with at least two years of direct management experience and a background in software engineering .
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and grow a distributed team of 7 full-stack software and test engineers .
- Drive the end-to-end software development lifecycle, ensuring high-quality and timely delivery.
- Partner with product management and architecture teams to define and execute product roadmaps .
- Maintain and improve engineering best practices, technical standards, and system architecture.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Participate in hands-on coding as needed to support the team and build credibility.
- Oversee Agile ceremonies and ensure smooth collaboration across teams.
