On behalf of our VIP client, we are seeking an experienced Solutions Architect for a 6-month contract to help design and implement innovative technology solutions within a leading Tax Technology Group. This role is ideal for a strategic thinker and hands-on problem solver who thrives in large-scale, enterprise environments.
As a Solutions Architect, you will drive the technical vision, ensuring scalable, secure, and maintainable solutions that leverage cloud computing, APIs, microservices, and distributed architectures. You will collaborate closely with tax professionals, development teams, and stakeholders to align technology with business objectives.
Key ResponsibilitiesSolution Architecture & Technical Leadership
- Design and implement scalable, secure, and maintainable cloud-based solutions.
- Lead the architecture and technical design of software projects, ensuring alignment with business strategy and industry best practices.
- Define system requirements, architecture, and integrations in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Evaluate and recommend tools, technologies, and processes to optimize product platforms.
- Work closely with the DevOps team to ensure seamless deployments and efficient system operations.
Collaboration & Innovation
- Partner with cross-functional teams including tax professionals, developers, and project managers.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and incorporate innovative solutions into the architecture.
- Provide technical mentorship and leadership to development teams.
- Conduct code reviews and enforce best practices in software development.
- Proactively identify issues, propose solutions, and lead resolution efforts.
Proven experience as a Solutions Architect in large-scale, enterprise environments (teams of 25 ).
Ability to align technical strategies with long-term business goals.
Expertise in cloud architecture (Azure preferred but not mandatory).
Strong understanding of software engineering, architecture principles, and data patterns.
Proficiency in .NET application development and microservices architecture.
Hands-on experience with DevOps practices and tools.
Experience working with Auth0 for authentication/authorization (huge plus).
Familiarity with SPIFFE and Open Policy Agent is a bonus.
