We are seeking an experienced IAM Operations Specialist to provide end-user support, troubleshoot complex identity and access management (IAM) issues, and drive operational efficiency within our organization.
This role plays a key part in maintaining secure access to critical systems, ensuring compliance with security policies, and refining IAM workflows for greater automation and scalability.
Key Responsibilities
Act as the primary escalation point for complex IAM-related requests and incidents, ensuring timely resolution while mentoring junior team members.
Support and refine IAM operations processes, including account and password management, access lifecycles, authentication and authorization, entitlement management, and non-employee identity management.
Identify opportunities for automation and process optimization, collaborating with IAM, IT, and business units to streamline identity and access workflows.
Maintain and update IAM documentation, including standard operating procedures (SOPs), workflows, training materials, and job aids.
Participate in IAM implementation, deployment, and documentation projects.
Monitor identity systems and processes, proactively identifying trends and potential risks while escalating issues as necessary.
Collaborate with senior IAM team members to ensure effective communication regarding identity-related challenges and solutions.
Provide after-hours on-call support as needed.
Required Qualifications
A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or a related field is required.
Experience:
Minimum of 3 years of experience in IAM or a related field, working with IAM platforms such as SailPoint, BeyondTrust, Saviynt, Delinea, ForgeRock, Ping Identity, Okta, CyberArk, Duo, Entra, Active Directory, etc.
Hands-on experience with service management tools like ServiceNow, Jira, or ManageEngine.
Strong understanding of IAM core concepts, including Lifecycle Management, Access Management, Identity and Access Governance, and Privileged Access Management.
Basic scripting and automation experience is preferred.
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical teams.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
Preferred Certifications
HDI or Cyber Operations, IAM, or a similar industry-recognized certification.
