What are the responsibilities and job description for the Installation Technician position at Tier4 Group?
We are seeking a dedicated Installation Technician to provide top-tier installation and repair services to business customers. This role ensures all site protocols, health, and safety standards are met while delivering exceptional customer experiences. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, dependable, and self-motivated with the ability to multi-task and learn new technologies.
Responsibilities :
- Perform installation, termination, testing, and repair of structured cabling systems (Cat 3, 5, 5E) following industry standards.
- Install and maintain network hardware, including switches, routers, firewalls, IP phones, wireless access points, and microwave radios.
- Work with NOC engineers to activate and troubleshoot services.
- Climb towers up to 300 feet to install or replace equipment.
- Participate in a rotating on-call schedule for 24 / 7 support.
- Follow safety regulations and maintain accurate records.

Standard hours are Monday–Friday, 8 AM–5 PM, with occasional after-hours work as needed.
