Position Overview
We are seeking three Junior QA Test Analysts to support our quality assurance efforts across both teams. These positions offer a great opportunity for early-career professionals to gain hands-on experience in software testing, QA methodologies, and cross-functional collaboration within a fast-paced technology environment.
This is a hybrid role requiring 2–3 days onsite per week, with the option to sit in either Tempe, AZ or Jeffersonville, IN. The expected duration of the contract is 1 year.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute test cases for functional, regression, integration, and system-level testing.
- Document and report bugs, defects, and inconsistencies clearly and thoroughly.
- Collaborate with QA leads, developers, and business analysts to understand project requirements and expected system behavior.
- Participate in requirement reviews, test plan creation, and test case reviews.
- Support test data creation, environment validation, and post-deployment validation.
- Track test execution progress and report testing status to the QA lead.
- Maintain documentation for all testing activities and results.
- Assist in automating basic test cases under the guidance of senior QA engineers (if applicable).
Qualifications
- 0–2 years of experience in software quality assurance or testing.
- Basic understanding of QA processes, test lifecycle, and testing methodologies.
- Familiarity with tools such as JIRA, TestRail, ALM, or similar test management systems.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a hybrid team environment.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new tools and processes.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred, or equivalent experience.
