Power BI Developer Full-Time
Hybrid Onsite - Metro Atlanta
Our client, an industrial job site services company based in Metro Atlanta, is looking for a Power BI Developer to transform complex data into insightful, interactive reports and dashboards. This role plays a crucial part in enhancing decision-making by delivering powerful visualizations for both internal teams and customer-facing platforms.
What You ll Do
- Develop & Deploy: Build dynamic Power BI dashboards and reports to support business operations, customer experience, and performance metrics.
- Collaborate: Work with stakeholders, operations teams, and product managers to define KPIs and translate business needs into actionable insights.
- Optimize Data Models: Use DAX & Power Query (M) to create robust data models, calculated columns, and ETL transformations.
- Integrate Data Sources: Connect to Azure Synapse, Fabric OneLake, SQL Server, and cloud-based APIs for seamless data integration.
- Ensure Quality & Performance: Optimize dashboards for accuracy, efficiency, and scalability.
- Support Business Users: Document report logic and provide training or handoffs to stakeholders.
- Stay Ahead: Keep up with Power BI trends and best practices to improve analytics capabilities.
What You Bring
3 years of experience in Power BI development, data visualization, or BI reporting.
Strong skills in DAX, Power Query (M), and data modeling.
Hands on experience with Azure Synapse, Fabric OneLake, SQL Server
Experience working with construction, field services, or logistics data is a plus.
Knowledge of ETL pipelines, data warehousing, and cloud platforms (Azure preferred).
Bonus points for familiarity with REST APIs, Python, or R for analytics.
Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams.
Nice to Have
Experience integrating Power BI with customer portals or SaaS platforms.
Understanding of field operations KPIs, job costing, asset tracking, or ticketing services.
Exposure to Power BI Embedded, Power Automate, or Power Apps.
