- Backlog Management & Prioritization
- Collaborate with Strategic Resource Management (SRM), Product Managers, Architects, System Engineers, and other key stakeholders to define and prioritize User Stories (US), defects, and related artifacts within the ServiceNow delivery teams backlog.
- Ensure alignment with ServiceNow best practices and platform capabilities.
- Release & Program Increment (PI) Planning
- Prepare and refine the team backlog to support quarterly release or program increment (PI) planning.
- Partner with the delivery team to establish PI objectives and organize USs that align with ServiceNow strategies and business needs.
- Assist in inter-team coordination and estimation of User Stories as needed.
- Sprint Planning & Execution
- Review and reprioritize the backlog to support sprint or iteration planning.
- Lead sprint planning sessions, define sprint objectives, schedule ServiceNow-related USs, and ensure alignment on deliverables.
- User Story Development & Delivery
- Oversee the creation, prioritization, scheduling, and acceptance of ServiceNow development work, enhancements, and configurations.
- Collaboration on Enabler Work & Non-Functional Requirements
- Work closely with ServiceNow Architecture, System Engineering, and shared services teams (Infrastructure, QA, Support) to define, schedule, and implement enabler work or non-functional requirements.
- Quality Assurance & Acceptance
- Serve as the requestors proxy, validating that completed USs meet the definition of done and adhere to ServiceNow platform standards.
- Continuous Improvement
- Facilitate sprint retrospectives to review, reflect, and implement process improvements specific to ServiceNow development and implementation.
- Team Leadership & Coordination
- Lead daily stand-ups and coordinate inter-team dependencies with other Product Owners to ensure smooth execution of ServiceNow platform initiatives.
- Product Strategy & Roadmap Alignment
- Provide insights to Product Management and Architecture teams to help shape the vision, roadmap, and strategic plan for ServiceNow-related products, ensuring alignment with enterprise objectives and platform governance.
