Job Description :

We are seeking a skilled Software Engineer to join our team for a 6-month contract with our esteemed Fortune 500 client in Milwaukee, WI. This role involves working on cutting-edge projects utilizing IBM technologies, Q, Python, Shell Scripting, and reverse engineering techniques.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Develop and maintain software solutions using IBM tools and Q programming.
  • Design, write, and optimize Python scripts to support system functionality.
  • Utilize Shell Scripting for task automation and process improvement.
  • Perform reverse engineering to analyze and understand existing software components.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and troubleshoot solutions.
  • Document technical specifications, processes, and workflows.
  • Ensure code quality and compliance with industry standards and best practices.

Qualifications :

  • Proven experience in IBM technologies and Q programming.
  • Proficiency in Python and Shell Scripting.
  • Strong understanding of reverse engineering principles and practices.
  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Effective communication and teamwork abilities.

    • Preferred Qualifications :

  • Experience in a corporate or Fortune 500 environment.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and development practices.

    • Work Schedule :

  • Full-time, 40 hours per week.
