Title : Vice President of Financial Operations
Location : Atlanta, GA
We are in search of a VP of Financial Operations who will serve in a critical leadership position that will drive financial performance, align financial goals with business objectives, and support continuous growth for an established telecom organization in the Atlanta area. Through your breadth of financial expertise, you will provide strategic management and oversight for all financial operations, including financial planning, analysis, reporting, treasury functions, procurement, and M&A integration. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of the telecommunications industry and or subscription / based industry and bring a wide breadth of skills in financial leadership to navigate complex and high-pressure situations.
This position requires an individual who can jump in quickly, make immediate contributions, and manage diverse financial functions within a rapidly growing organization. The ability to serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, manage cross-functional teams, and optimize financial strategies in a high-stakes environment will be key to success.
Key Responsibilities :
- Financial Leadership & Stakeholder Engagement : Lead the development and execution of financial strategies to drive long-term business success. Collaborate with the executive team to deliver actionable financial insights that support business objectives and strategic initiatives, particularly in the telecom sector. Foster strong relationships with internal departments, auditors, financial institutions, investors, and other external stakeholders. Support operational objectives through effective cross-functional collaboration and communication.
- Financial Planning, Analysis, & Reporting : Spearhead the budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes. Provide critical analysis of financial performance, identify trends, and offer data-driven recommendations to enhance operational and financial outcomes. Oversee the preparation of timely and accurate financial reports for the executive team, board of directors, and external stakeholders, ensuring alignment with both internal goals and regulatory requirements.
- Treasury Management : Manage the companys treasury functions, including cash flow forecasting, liquidity planning, capital structure optimization, and investment strategies. Build and maintain strong banking relationships, ensuring efficient use of financial resources.
- Procurement Management : Develop and execute procurement strategies, including supplier negotiations and cost management. Optimize the procurement function to align with business goals and drive operational savings, while ensuring compliance with procurement policies.
- M&A Integration : Lead the financial integration of mergers and acquisitions, ensuring seamless transitions. Oversee the alignment of financial systems, reporting structures, and processes post-acquisition to realize synergies and integrate new business units into the company's financial ecosystem.
- Risk Management : Identify and assess financial risks, ensuring robust risk management strategies are in place. Lead efforts to ensure compliance with financial regulations and corporate policies, safeguarding the company's financial health.
- Operational Efficiency : Champion initiatives aimed at streamlining financial operations and improving business processes. Implement best practices and systems to enhance overall financial management and control.
