Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver to join our team. As a Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and products to various locations. This is a great opportunity for individuals who enjoy driving and providing exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Safely and efficiently operate a delivery vehicle to transport goods to designated locations
- Load and unload products from the vehicle
- Follow delivery schedules and routes provided by the dispatcher
- Provide excellent customer service by ensuring timely and accurate deliveries
- Maintain proper documentation for deliveries, including receipts and signatures
- Perform regular vehicle inspections and maintenance checks
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations
Requirements:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Previous experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role is preferred
- Ability to operate various types of delivery vehicles, including refrigerated trailers and tractor-trailers
- Familiarity with warehouse operations, including loading and unloading procedures
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Physical stamina to handle heavy lifting and perform repetitive tasks
- Commercial driving experience is a plus
- Forklift certification is a plus
Note: All positions must be paid, including internship positions.
