POSITION: Head Men’s Flag Football Coach
SUPERVISOR: Director of Club & Rec. Sports
DEPARTMENT: Athletics
JOB TYPE: Part-time Stipend
LOCATION: On-campus located in Tiffin, OH
Position Overview:
Tiffin University is looking for a motivated and energetic individual to serve as the Part-Time Stipend Coach for the Men’s Flag Football team. This position is ideal for someone with previous flag football experience, coaching skills, and a passion for fostering a positive and competitive team environment. As part of the Club & Recreational Sports Department, the coach will work closely with student-athletes to develop their skills and enhance their experience in collegiate flag football.
Responsibilities:
- Organize and lead flag football practices, including drills and skill development.
- Develop strategies and assist with game preparation and execution.
- Foster teamwork, sportsmanship, and a positive attitude among student-athletes.
- Coordinate and oversee team travel for games and events.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of participants during all activities.
- Communicate effectively with the Club Sports Director and team members.
- Promote the growth and success of the Men’s Flag Football program through effective coaching and leadership.
- Recruiting student-athletes, scheduling, travel planning, practice scheduling, personal mentorship, and roster management.
Qualifications:
- Experience playing or coaching flag football at the collegiate or competitive level.
- Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
- Ability to inspire and motivate student-athletes.
- CPR and First Aid certification (or ability to obtain upon hire).
- Available to work evenings and weekends based on practice and competition schedules.
- Demonstrated passion for flag football and student-athlete development.
Compensation:
This is a part-time stipend position with compensation based on team needs and competition schedule.
