Job Description:
The Certified Nurse Assistant is a vital member of our healthcare team, responsible for providing exceptional patient care and support. This role involves assisting professional staff in delivering quality care to residents, coordinating communications at the nurse's station, and assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating resident care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assists residents/patients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding, toileting, transferring, and mobility.
- Answers patient call lights in a timely manner.
- Protects patient rights by knocking before entering the room and properly draping patients prior to procedures.
- Accurately documents care.
- Takes vital signs and weights as ordered.
- Assists in the participation and removal of safety devices.
- Maintains bed alarms on residents with bed alarms included in their plan of care.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma preferred.
- Certified Nurse Aide certification.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
