About Us: Tigé and ATX Surf Boats, a leading manufacturer in the surf and wake boat industry, is seeking a dedicated and skilled Customer Service/Warranty Specialist to join our team and assist in the management and fulfillment of warranty claims, answering dealership warranty inquiries, and providing excellent to support to our valued network of dealers and customers.
Position Overview: As a Customer Service Warranty Specialist, you will serve as the primary point of contact for dealership personnel and customers navigating warranty-related issues. You will manage and process warranty claims via phone, email, and warranty software, ensuring concerns are addressed swiftly, professionally, and accurately. In this dynamic role, you will collaborate closely with internal teams, troubleshoot warranty-related issues, and maintain a high level of satisfaction for both dealerships and customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to inbound dealer emails and calls related to warranty claims, providing timely and knowledgeable assistance.
- Process, verify, and ensure the accuracy of warranty claims in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with technical, production, and quality control teams to resolve issues and ensure the accurate and timely processing of claims.
- Provide clear, precise, and up-to-date information about product features, warranty coverage, and available service options to dealerships and customers.
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of warranty transactions, claims history, and customer interactions within the warranty management system.
- Troubleshoot, resolve, and follow up on warranty claims in a professional manner to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Work closely with other departments (sales, customer support, logistics) to ensure a smooth, seamless warranty experience for dealerships and customers.
- Manage in-house built parts orders, from initial request to shipment, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Act as a liaison between dealerships and the company’s production or technical teams to escalate urgent warranty concerns and ensure they are addressed promptly.
- Ensure that warranty claims are processed in compliance with the company’s guidelines and industry regulations.
- Continuously update and improve knowledge of products, services, and warranty policies to stay ahead of customer needs.
- Track and monitor warranty trends to identify potential product issues or areas for improvement.
- Provide feedback to internal teams to help improve processes and enhance customer service.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with customers and dealership staff.
- Proven experience in customer service, preferably in a warranty or technical support role.
- Ability to troubleshoot issues and offer solutions while maintaining a high level of professionalism.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills to track multiple claims and customer interactions.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Familiarity with warranty software and systems (or the ability to quickly learn new software tools).
