Job Duties:
- Develop and manage LookML models, dashboards, and visualizations in Looker to deliver insightful analytics to stakeholders
- Collaborate with business users to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications for reporting and data solutions
- Enhance existing reports and dashboards, focusing on performance optimization and user experience improvements
- Perform data analysis to uncover trends, patterns, and opportunities that can drive business improvements
- Work closely with data engineers to ensure data integrity and availability for reporting purposes
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Looker dashboards and data sources as they arise
- Create documentation for reports, dashboards, and best practices to guide end-users in using Looker efficiently
- Stay current on Looker updates and related technologies, leveraging new features to enhance reporting capabilities
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- 8-10 years of experience in a Looker studio or related role delivering BI/Reporting projects in an enterprise or consulting role
- Strong ability to analyze complex datasets and extract actionable insights
- Expertise in Looker development, including LookML and dashboard creation
- Strong proficiency in SQL for querying and manipulating databases
- Familiarity with cloud platforms, such as Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or Azure
- Experience with data modeling techniques
- Knowledge of additional BI tools like Tableau or Power BI is a plus
- Excellent problem-solving skills for troubleshooting data-related issues
- Excellent communication skills
