Position: Manufacturing Technician
Location: CopaSAT, LLC, Largo, FL

About the Role
CopaSAT, LLC is seeking a detail-oriented part time Manufacturing Technician with strong team focused attitude. In this role, you’ll be at the heart of our production process, assembling and testing cutting-edge satellite communication terminals. You will work closely with engineers and production staff, applying your hands-on skills to ensure each unit meets rigorous quality and performance standards. If you have a solid foundation in manufacturing, an eye for detail, and a drive for continuous improvement, this position offers excellent growth potential in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform physical manufacturing tasks such as sanding, masking / paint preparation, etc.
• Collaborate with team members to identify process improvements, enhance build efficiency, and improve quality standards.
• Assist with receiving, shipping, and purchasing operations as required.
• Perform additional tasks to support ongoing manufacturing, testing, and quality assurance initiatives.

Minimum Qualifications:

• US Citizenship and ability to hold a security clearance
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a hands-on, physically active environment.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience in electronics assembly, manufacturing, or production testing.
• Advanced computer skills.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles or continuous improvement methodologies.
• Forklift certification
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and documentation.
