Growing construction company in Farmingdale, Long Island is seeking a Senior Accountant for their growing business. Responsibilities:
- Reviewing general ledger accounts and preparing and adjusting journal entries
- Performing account analysis and reconciliation, including bank statements and intercompany general ledger accounts
- Maintaining general ledger charts of accounts
- Assisting with initial internal control evaluations
- Posting monthly, quarterly and yearly accruals
- Performing variance analysis on both the Balance Sheet and Income Statement
- Various ad-hoc reports as needed
Requirements:
- BS or Advance Degree in Accounting or Finance
- 3 years of relevant experience
- Strong communication skills
- Willing and openness to work in an office setting 5 days per week
Salary : $65,000 - $75,000
