Halvorson | Tighe & Bond Studio
An award-winning landscape architecture, site planning, and urban design studio within Tighe & Bond, serving New England and the eastern United States. Our studio creates timeless, engaging landscapes that are rooted in fundamental design principles and inspired by the dynamics of nature. The studio’s designers bring a unique perspective that, when combined the expertise of our engineers and environmental specialists, creates more holistic solutions, with an eye to unlocking each site’s potential.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Work with our landscape architecture team on design projects for parks, open spaces, campus and urban environments, municipal spaces, multi-scale landscape infrastructure, and development and remediation projects
- Develop 3D models, rendering, and produce presentation graphics
- Assist with the preparation of construction drawings/document sets and work with senior designers on a collaborative team
What You Will Need
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master's program in Landscape Architecture with at least 2 years of completed coursework
- Experience working in AutoCAD, InDesign Suite, Lumion, and Rhino
- Intellectual curiosity and a desire to solve complex problems
- Flexibility, a positive attitude, and open-mindedness
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in Revit, Grasshopper, Twinmotion, and Enscape
- Previous, relevant internship experience in landscape architecture, design, or consulting
Compensation
Landscape Architecture intern hourly rates range from $19-$26 per hour and are determined based on completed years of education
