Our Water Team and Projects
Nearly 160 professional engineers strong and recent recipients of multiple ACEC Engineering Excellence and ASCE Project Awards, our senior technical and project management leaders have earned an outstanding reputation with private, state, and local government clients. We provide planning, design, and construction phase services for the construction of new, or improvements to existing conveyance systems, treatment plants, pump stations, and other water infrastructure. We assist our clients with capital improvement plans, hydraulic modeling services, and implementing asset management programs while also undertaking study projects including Long Term CSO Control Plans, Comprehensive Wastewater Management Plans, Integrated Water Resource Management Plans, and Sewer System Evaluation Studies.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Performing civil, water, and/or wastewater engineering design tasks, including developing drawings, specifications, and cost estimates for bidding and construction.
- Observing construction on municipal infrastructure projects (sewer, storm drain, water, roads).
- Identifying contractor conformance with design drawings and specifications.
- Measuring installed quantities and reviewing shop drawings.
- Coordinating with city staff and residents and preparing daily reports
- Bachelor's degree in civil or environmental engineering
- Relevant experience through internships or full-time roles in engineering design, consulting, surveying, permitting, and/or construction observation
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Eagerness to learn, self-motivation, and excellent organizational skills
- Hands-on experience with design software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit, or SolidWorks
- 2 or more years of relevant internship experience or full-time work experience
- Completed FE or EIT certification or planning to obtain within 6-months

- Bachelor’s degree salary is $72,176 and master’s degree salary is $76,336
