In this role, as a Facility Maintenance Technician, you'll streamline processes, ensuring that equipment, buildings, and grounds are always at peak performance. Transition between responsibilities effectively—whether it’s a Set-Up Mechanic, electrician, or machine operator/grinder, your adaptability will be key.
What You'll Do:
- Perform systematic checks and oiling of production machines to ensure they function efficiently.
- Ensure that safety systems are operational, safeguarding the work environment.
- Conduct necessary equipment overhauls and rebuilds.
- Assemble, install, evaluate, and sustain machinery, focusing especially on electrical components.
- Repair and restore machine components as needed.
- Expertise in Power Panel Fabrication and understanding hydraulic schematics.
- Skillfully identify equipment problems and execute repairs.
- Inspect electrical frameworks for any hazards, defects, and regulatory incompliance.
- Proactively recommend corrective actions to management.
- Assist in production tasks across various specializations.
- Interpret and apply blueprints/schematics to ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Efficientisate connection of power cables and grounding.
- Document records, manage inventories, and prepare essential reports.
- Comprehend PLC logic and operations.
- Monitor operational status of chillers and processed water systems daily.
- Ensure efficient resource and tool use.
- Provide training to other staff members when needed.
- Maintain cleanliness and safety throughout the workspace.
- Keep precise documentation and communicate requisite amendments with your leader.
What We're Looking For
- Completion of high school diploma or equivalent.
- Certified technical schooling or relevant experience totaling 2-3 years.
- A minimum of 5 years working in a maintenance role.
- Strong proficiency in mechanics, electronics, and numerical understanding.
- Exceptional English communication skills, both spoken and written.
- Outstanding ability to organize tasks and manage time efficiently.
- Proficient in using digital devices.
- Competence with hand-operated tools for minor repairs.
- Extensive troubleshooting experience.
- Capability to quickly grasp and apply new concepts.
