Summary
Responsible for building and implementing process standards for the manufacturing area. Create and consolidate KPI's for plant areas, understand GAP's and assist in building plans for improvement.
Primary Responsibilities
- Identify and Capture Efficiency Improvements:
- Find opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
- Plan and execute projects to capture gains from identified opportunities
- Development and Budgeting of Equipment:
- Develop and budget devices, benches, and movement means.
- Focus on optimizing resource use (labor and cost) and creating efficient production flow.
- implementation and Monitoring:
- Implement and track productivity improvement projects using Lean Manufacturing or other indicated methodologies.
- Annual Investment Plan:
- Participate in the critical analysis and formulation of the annual investment plan for operational units.
- Analyze identified investment information.
- Improvement Projects:
- Develop and implement projects to improve manufacturing processes and products.
- Reduce costs and optimize resources through critical analysis and action planning.
- Factory Footprint and Expansion Projects:
- Participate in factory footprint projects, expansions, and new constructions with a multifunctional team.
- Workforce Planning:
- Size and quantify the workforce at operational centers during project analysis.
- Master Data Management:
- Build and validate master production data.
- Ensure data accuracy in the SAP system.
- Responsible for preparing presentations according to Project tools and having good skills when presenting to approval committees.
Position Specifications and Requirements
- Academic education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, preferably Chemical, Mechanical, Materials, Plastic or Industrial (desirable).
- Skills: Advanced Excel, Power point, SAP, Power BI.
